Batiste vs. Balea Dry Shampoo

Dry shampoos are a must have in anyone’s life. After using them, I asked myself :How couldn’t I have used it before?! Dry shampoos are an easy and fast way to freshen up your hair, give it texture and get rid of excess sebum. If your hair gets greasy in no time and you don’t want to wash it every single day, you are in-between 2 washes or you just want to get more volume and a fixing effect, dry shampoo will be your holy grail. The instructions are pretty simple: shake up the tube, hold it at 30 cm away from the hair, section your hair  and spray it at your roots. Massage gently to soak up any excess oil and brush your hair. I don’t recommend using it 2 days in a row if the hair hasn’t been washed in-between applications. I think that the shampoo’s effect is visible even the next day, so a second application is not necessary. If I stay like this for maximum 2 days, I definitely wash it in the evening. I don’t recommend using it when the hair is super greasy because it might make it tacky.

Șampoanele uscate sunt un must have în viața oricui. După ce le-am folosit, mi-am pus întrebarea : Cum am putut să nu le folosesc până acum?! Aceste șampoane sunt o metodă simplă și rapidă pentru a vă reîmprospăta părul, oferindu-i textură și scăpându-l de excesul de sebum. Dacă părul se îngrașă foarte repede și nu vreți să îl spălați zilnic, sunteți între 2 spălări sau pur și simplu vreți să obțineți rapid mai mult volum și fixare, șamponul uscat vă scoate din impas. Regulile de utilizare sunt simple: agitați bine tubul, țineți-l la o distanță de 30 cm de păr, secționați părul și aplicați-l la rădăcină. Apoi, masați cu degetele scalpul pentru ca produsul să se poată absorbi mai bine și periați părul pentru a înlătura excesul de produs. Totuși nu este recomandat să îl folosiți două zile consecutive dacă părul nu a fost spălat între utilizări. Părerea mea este că efectul șamponului este vizibil și următoarea zi, așa că o a doua utilizare nu este necesară. Dacă rămân cu produsul în păr până maxim a doua zi, seara îl spăl cu siguranță. Nu recomand să îl folosiți când părul este foarte gras deoarece s-ar putea să îl îmbâcsească.

Until now, I only tried the Batiste and Balea dry shampoos. The Batiste’s price varies, but usually the full size it’s about $8. The one from Balea disappointed me because I don’t think it soaks up any excess sebum, maybe just a little. I like about it that smells like vanilla, but only that. I won’t buy it again, even if it cost me about 2.50 $.

My favorites remain the Batiste ones and they are really good. The XXL volume dry shampoo smells like a hair spray, but it’s not that stifling. It soaks up the excess sebum, gives volume, acts a bit like a hair spray and stays on even the next day. The next full size dry shampoo I tried is the “floral & flirty blush” and it has indeed a floral scent that’s very nice. Comparing this one and the XXL volume, the other one is stronger and more efficient. This one is lighter, but it still soaks up the sebum. The next 2 dry shampoos I own are travel size and they are perfect to take in vacation or just to throw one in your bag due to their small size. The “Coconut & exotic tropical” dry shampoo smells so damn good! As the previous, it has a lighter formula, but you can definitely see a difference when you are using it. I didn’t use the original one yet, but I will be updating you as soon as I try it out. Right now, my favorite is the XXL volume due to its efficacy, price and generous quantity (200ml). Having my hair dyed, I don’t know how it would look like on a darker hair color, but you can buy it in “Medium & Brunette”.

Până acum, am încercat doar șampoanele uscate Batiste și cel de la Balea. Prețul celor de la Batiste variază, însă când este la ofertă în magazinele Sensiblu sau pe elefant.ro, este între 15-20 de lei full size, și 8-9 lei travel size. Cel de la Balea m-a dezamăgit deoarece nu mi se pare că absoarbe excesul de sebum, poate doar puțin. Îmi place la el doar faptul că miroase a vanilie, însă doar atât. Nu îl voi mai cumpăra, chiar dacă a costat doar 9 lei.

Preferatele mele rămân cele de la Batiste și sunt într-adevăr bune. Șamponul XXL volume miroase a fixativ, însă nu este un miros la fel de înecăcios. Absoarbe excelent excesul de sebum, oferă volum, fixează părul și rezistă chiar și a doua zi.  Următorul șampon full size pe care l-am încercat este “floral & flirty blush” și are într-adevăr un miros floral, foarte plăcut. Făcând comparație între acesta și XXL volume, celălalt este mai puternic și mai eficient. Acesta este mai light, însă tot absoarbe sebumul. Următoarele două pe care le dețin sunt în travel size și sunt perfecte de luat în vacanță sau de pus în geantă deoarece nu ocupă mult spațiu. “Coconut & exotic tropical” miroase atât de bine! Ca și precedentul, are o formulă mai light, însă cu siguranță se vede o diferență. Pe cel original încă nu l-am folosit, însă voi reveni cu un update în curând. Momentan, favoritul meu rămâne cel XXL volume datorită eficacității, prețului și cantității generoase(200 ml). Având părul vopsit, nu știu cum s-ar vedea pe un păr mult mai închis la culoare, însă îl puteți cumpăra și în varianta Medium & Brunette.
